After the engrossing Essential Killing (2010), Jerzy Skolimowski, one of Polish Cinema’s most iconic figures, returns with a thrilling picture – 11 Minutes. The bold and innovative concept of the film takes the viewer on an 81-minute cinematic journey following 11 minutes of the lives of numerous protagonists whose paths cross in an unexpected finale. Awarded the Special Youth Jury Prize at the 2015 MFF in Venice and the Special Jury Prize at the 2015 Film Festival in Gdynia for the most original artistic concept, 11 Minutes captures the metaphor of contemporary, hectic life driven by blind chance.
This screening will be followed by a Q&A with director Jerzy Skolimowski.
