An intensive, three-day programme aimed at directors/writers with proven experience who wish to move from shorts to features or who have made their first low-budget features. The 10 selected directors/writers will participate in Q&As, practical lectures, workshops and master classes with experts and industry professionals, such as: Agnieszka Holland (‘In Darkness’), Ivana MacKinnon (‘Slumdog Millionaire), Ben Blaine (‘Nina Forever’) and Will Tennant (Imaginarium Studios, ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’). They will have the opportunity to polish their skills in story development and pitching, with a particular focus on understanding the world of VFX, including crafting spectacular visual experiences, creative solutions, creating visual wonder and combining the latest technologies.

There will be multiple opportunities for participants to network with film/TV industry professionals.

HOW MUCH WILL IT COST YOU? This programme is free for the 10 selected participants (accommodation and travel expenses are not covered, however, participants from Poland will have their travel and accommodation covered by the PCI in London).

    •    your current CV
    •    one-page synopsis / project outline, together with a short explanation of the aesthetic of your film and how do you foresee using VFX to enrich your film.  

APPLICATION DEADLINE The deadline for submission is 4pm on 16 March 2016. The 10 selected scriptwriters will be notified by email by 21 March 2016.
