POSTER EXHIBITION

BFI Southbank atrium
We are pleased to display some international posters from the archives of the Film Museum in Łódź to go along with the Agnieszka Holland films selected for this season. Illustrating varied graphic styles they show the diverse priorities of different cultures including Japan, Germany, Israel and France among others, and the compelling nature of poster art.
The exhibition also includes photos from the film sets, taken from the director’s own archives. These are further supplemented with materials received from Andrzej Wajda, HBO, Apple Film Productions, Best Film and many other international film institutions such as a BFI London, DIF Frankfurt and Deutsche Kinemathek Berlin.
